Remember that time when DK Metcalf raced a bunch of professional sprinters
Exactly...what were you expecting a bunch of amature athletes not in their sport to step up on the stage and destroy the pros?

I just checked out his Spudman time and he'll never be famous for that time.

He told us that was the first race he'd done since the 50.50.50.

Do me a favor and do one full distance and let me know how it goes.

Have you done a full IM?
Eddie

Multiple half no full. COVID killed plans and I've moved the ramp to next year

I would also agree, I did a marathon last year and it was way more difficult

Location really depends on where you live and willingness to travel.

Half is my favorite distance. The utah half is FAST if you want a good time.

For me the half IM was harder than the marathon.

I see it as grit and determination, but I'm just not in awe at his athleticism.

Where do you think it's zone 1?

The "don't judge until you've walked in another man's shoes" could be tweaked to say "don't criticize until..." here.

Depends on what model you use. For me, endurance or active recovery zone is a HR

I walked a couple of miles with Hank Jr, and the whole group stays as a “spread out” group, IOW all the same basic pace.

I thought I saw somewhere that on the marathon he runs .5 miles then walks for .25. To do what he's done, which is truly
