Would all dissipate over time for conferences. Teams like Clemson and Alabama

will still have it, but if there was a 12 team playoff the last 10 years, teams like Arizona couldn’t claim superiority over a team like UCF (who would have been in the playoff 3 times).

Perception, prestige, influence, power for a lot of teams that live only off of P5 affiliation will suffer. This opens the door for there to be a Gonzaga type team in the college football world.
