I beat the 47.6 with a time just over 47. Even have it filmed somewhere. BYU sprinter was my roommate and we trained 3-4 times a week and I ran the Y every Saturday. Under the bet I had 2 years to train and complete it. It took right around a year and I was in really good shape to begin with. Hardest part was just learning how to run the 400. I already had exposure to sprinting and technique in high school. Very awkward distance. Id bet most male D1 skill athletes could actually do it with the right coaching though.
