I think the OL won't be as good as last year - but I don't think they'll be horrible.

I think you go with the player that gives you the best chance to win now. If that's Hall, it's Hall. If it's Romney, it's Romney.

Listening to Cougar Sports Saturday - they made the argument that the only way you start Conover is if he is head and shoulders WAY above the other two. Their argument was that if you start Hall or Romney and they falter - you can always bring in Conover and see what he can do. But if you bring in Conover and he has a rough time - then you have to bring in someone to replace him and you risk destroying his confidence and development - and may have lost him for the future.

It made sense to me - don't play the freshman without any actual game experience unless he really shows he's better than the other two. And, honestly, the other two have shown enough in games to have me feeling confident that either will be serviceable at the very least. And either could be pretty good. So if Conover is clearly much better than either of those two - chances are he's going to be OK on game day too.
