more respected as well as a team that gives you another strong possibility of getting a team that can crack the top 12 or maybe even give you another team that can give an additional invite to the top 12, (highest ranked conference champion plus another team in the top 12) and a team that increases exposure for the conference and has a great overall sports program, not just football and can schedule and beat P5 teams every year as part of their out of conference schedule,

Would be enough of a benefit to strongly consider it.

P5's may be looking at this as well. This new system may indeed lead to more consolidation of teams and a shake up of conferences going forward but we will see.
