"IF" it's true that Lowell's scholarship was pulled (nobody has came forward and offered anything definitive to support that, just opinion) it would be because of that predicament. There's a chance he won't ever be 100% after the achillies tear yet he'd be occupying a scholarship for 2 yrs without playing or being able to practice much and no development of his game would be happening. Sad situation for him.

You see a similar thing with Baxter and it's stunted his growth and development for sure. With the limited minutes he played last year he looks very behind in what he can do with the ball in his hand. The time missed due to his multiple injuries has really hurt him and put him behind.
