Also, I’m guessing you probably mean oral surgeon or something else. Orthodontist typically do surgery and I can’t inagine waiting that long at an ortho’s office.

I’m an orthodontist FWIW and we put in great effort to keep almost all patients waiting 10 minutes or less. It always seems crazy to me when I have to wait so long at doctors’ offices. Sometimes I can see the doctor or nurse standing in the back doing nothing while I wait.
