Semenya is a biological male
She is XY chromosomal whose genetic condition makes her slower than other XY athletes. Most news reports leave this out thereby giving the impression that Semenya is XX chromosomal whose genetic condition makes her faster than other XX athletes. This is simply not the case.

XX or XY. IF a variant, then set some rules for that. But chromosomal sex is the simplest starting point.

It's why ADA doesn't cover blind pilots or surgeons. At some point you must be able to perform the task.
