rock bluesy. And I like that. They are just finding who they are and devolving as a band and finding their sound, style. And Physical Graffiti is just outstanding and a Beast. Presence kind of gets back to some more of hard blues rock. And We can't forget Houses of the Holy with some folk influence. When I saw them live, that album just came out, and they were on that tour.
Also speaking of outstanding albums, If I lost my collection among some of the first I'd re-get besides Led Zep would be... Who's Next by the Who and Nilsson Schmilsson, Cream, 'Disraeli Gears', Pet Sounds, 'Songs in the Key of Life', or ‘Innervisions', Santana, 'Abraxas,' Highway, 61 Revisited, or, ‘Blood On The Tracks’ or Blonde on Blonde, I like Dylan..
The White Album, or ‘Abbey Road or Revolver, Miles Davis, ‘Kind Of Blue’ Neil Young, After The Gold, Rush, or 'Harvest'. I like Neil Young and CS&N a lot. of Course 'Crosby, Stills & Nash', and 'Déjà Vu. A bunch of Cat Stevens, and Simon & Garfunkel, and Graceland. 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters' and on
Can't leave out 'The Dark Side of the Moon or Wish You Were Here or The Wall.. so hard to choose. Hank Williams, '40 Greatest Hits' Cash, 'At Folsom Prison', Merle Haggard, Waylon, Have to add 'A Night at the Opera', 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'
Jimi Hendrix... Stones Exile On Main St. Thick as a Brick and Aqualung. Tull was perhaps one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Made in Japan, Deep Purple also Outstanding live. The Doors LA Woman& The Doors,
Actually technically the Doors was the first concert I ever saw. My aunt was babysitting me, I was maybe around 10 or 11 and she took me with her, because she wanted to see Morrison. They were playing at Lagoon.
Now I'm just rambling trying to remember where I would start with a collection if i had to start over. This isn't including a lot of classic Jazz and Classic Country.
