A possible scenario here with many dominoes dropping:
SEC adds OU/Texas and goes to 16.
B10 then ads Kansas and poaches an ACC team, like Virgina. Goes to 16.
ACC then adds WVU and ISU and tries to get ND as full member. So to 16.
PAC12 sits at 12, leaving Okie State, KState, Baylor, TCU and TTech on the outside with BYU. So those 5 grab BYU, BSU, Cinci, UCF and Houston to form the best of the rest. AAC now weakened, like the MWC is.
4 power leagues, but only 60 members. So now 5 auto bids to the new playoff, meaning 1 more at large for the P4 to take.
BYU in a stronger position, but still not as good as we'd like. But better overall for all sports.
