The PAC12 is vulnerable due to mismanagement by the Larry Scott clown school 🤡. Among many other missteps, expanding was a mistake. But once they expanded, they should have kicked WSU and OSU out of the conference. The lower per school payouts, officiating scandals, failure of the PAC12 network, erosion of the quality of play, the COVID response disaster of a non-season, really hurt. Without Texas & OU, there are zero schools west of the Mississippi with strong enough brands that would increase per school payouts enough to offset the effect of having another mouth to feed.
