Maybe this is part of the real reason Texas and Oklahoma are moving on. They tried to get the conference to add teams and make the Big12 strong enough to stand on its own. ISU killed expansion last time by bringing up the LGBTQ stuff with BYU, and causing the Big12 to not add any teams. Karma for ISU is not very pretty. Now they can't ride coattails and the money they get just disappeared.

All scheduling contracts have an out clause for joining a P5. Not a problem.
