Was just going to post something similar.
Bowlsby was careful to say there are eight members of the Big 12 in his latest statement.
And I think the Ok. St. pres. is right that OU and UT likely breached the bylaws by engaging in talks with the SEC (and probably others), but not sure what evidence there will be on that.
In any case, OU and UT are now in the "Interim Period" of 18 months where they get no money from the Big 12, and the Big 12 gets to keep that money and apply it against their buy out (which is equal to the last two years of revenue distributions to OU and UT).
And the grant of media rights are still effective through 2025, except that UT and OU get none of the money from those agreements.
