I think that's a fair way to do it. Make it clear that the owner made it right

I will cut someone or a business quite a bit of slack if they screw up but then own it and take care of the problem. I will even go out of my way to identify by name an employee that turned a negative experience into a positive one by making sure my situation was remedied.
