The ratings, money, records just don't support it. Plus the Big 12 isn't exactly in a position where they can wait for teams to build up and get good. They need credibility NOW.
Given the viewership and $, it's got to be Cincy, UCF, BYU, Houston right off the bat. After that you can consider another 2 either now or a few years down the road from among Colo St, Boise (partner for BYU), USF (partner for UCF and big market) or Memphis (central location, pretty solid team)
