...the typical Pac-12 type team. Opposing teams in their conference aren't built to match up well with Utah and thus they're unprepared to play them. Every year is an outlier. Its the same advantage that AFA had on teams in the MWC, they were a very different team to prepare for than anybody else in the conference.

Also, Huntley had little to no variance in PER between his first 3 years as a QB compared with his senior year. 143, 138 and 140 then 177. Plot that out on a graph and it's almost a straight line with a very slight decline until his senior year. Is it a coincidence that Huntley had his best year (an outlier) only when Moss had his Pac12 OPOY season?
