I was in the drumline when he was the “instructor”. Every single person could outplay him. He had basically no previous experience. No body respected him because he didn’t know what he was doing.

I agree with your assessment. The band plays the same stuff in the stands every year. It’s old. It’s tired. And it’s really boring and vanilla. They need some new blood.
