I was at the Collie 4th and 18, the Gilford interception against Utah, the Staley option down the sideline, and the Boise “hail-mary” and subsequent Nacua int for a TD. All of these games were loud. What was different about the Utah and ASU games this year was the sustained noise throughout the game, not just on a handful of important 3rd downs. At least in my section, there is a lot more intense interest throughout the game.
It could be because of the energy coming off the heels of last season, night games where it’s cool, being ranked/playing ranked teams or the B12 invite, but the energy increase is noticeable.
