I know ryebrye IRL and I can promise you he was making a joke about how you could have made the point more succinctly.
You made a great post but it was pretty long and I thought ryebrye’s post was a funny response. It doesn’t take away from your post, so don’t feel like you need to be defensive about it.

To your question about my teams, I lived in all those places except Pittsburgh. However, the Penguins were the closest NHL team to where I lived when I was a kid. Kentucky basketball was on probation when I attended my first game as a kid, sitting in the old nosebleed student section with my dad who was a PhD student there at the time. I have been an Atlanta United fan since 2014 when I put down like $50 to reserve season tickets, three years before they started playing in MLS. BYU has obviously had its ups and downs in football and basketball over the last 10 years, but I was there for the game at Tennessee in 2019, at LSU in 2017, at Cincinnati in 2016, Houston at LES in 2014, and Georgia Tech (away) in 2012. The biggest game I can remember attending from the time I was a student was the BYU-Utah football game in 2001. I was at the NCAA tournament basketball game in Lexington in 2007 when BYU lost to Xavier. If you’re out this way, I hope to see you at the Georgia Southern game. Go cougs.
