With my Blue goggles on, I’m going to assume that’s because the leap isn’t as
Big for BYU.
Meaning, BYU was G5/semiP5, so it’s a bump, but a smaller one than for schools jumping from conferences that are fully g5.

I’m guessing these guys likely also believe that any team not in the SEC are almost akin to the G5. Anyone that likes
