If a requirement for being a BYU fan is hating Utah, well then I probably don't hit that criteria. That's not part of my definition of what it means to be a BYU fan though. BYU fandom shouldn't be defined by disliking or hating Utah.

I grew up watching Utah games with my dad (who is a grad), have great memories of it, and so I do still want them to succeed (when they aren't playing BYU). So yeah, that makes me more of a Utah fan than 95% of this board, and occasionally I've shared the Ute fan perspective here to give an honest insight into how they are viewing things.

But that doesn't mean I'm not a BYU fan and invested in their success. If I was trying to troll or trick you, I wouldn't admit to growing up a Ute fan and I'd certainly delete that post you shared after you've brought it up something like 30 times as some sort of "smoking gun". But it's more important to me to be honest about my background. I do like Utah. I prefer BYU.

I've also shared several posts on UteHub defending BYU when they get too negative towards BYU over there. It's admittedly fewer but that's more because the board setup is terrible compared to CougarBoard. Formatting and notifications/follow-ups just aren't at the same level.

But then again, we've been over this again and again. This is something like your 7th ID you've created to attack me, so I'm not sure this will change anything. You're going to believe what you believe.
