And the other three have all had high profile bowl games (NY6) against SEC/ACC opponents. Cincy and UCF have both played recent bowl games against Georgia.
Of course a Georgia sports talk station is going to think of those teams before they think of someone whose best bowl appearance in the last decade was a Vegas bowl. As an independent we've played a lot of great teams during the year, but those don't get national attention. They get attention from specific fanbases. To get national attention, you have to play big games at the end of the year - conference championships and major bowls against P5 opponents. Independence has prevented us from doing that and therefore we haven't been able to break through the insular nature of folks here.
