That’s not a real high level. It’s respectable, which is saying a lot given UVA’s history overall, but not all that high.
They aren’t the ACC’s Kansas or Rutgers or Vanderbilt, but they’ve never been anything better than a solid program who managed one good run when they had their best QB and best WR ever and one when they had their best RB and safety ever.
Al Groh had some solid seasons, but he went 8-16 in his last two years, and then London went 27-46. That’s 35-62 in the eight seasons before Bronco took over.
