Grew up in Oklahoma, so closest NFL team was Dallas, and MLB was St. Louis. Loved Cowboys as a kid, but felt no affinity for the Cards, so I followed some friends to Dodger land. About the time I got home from my mission Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys and announced Jimmy Johnson as his new head coach without even telling Tom Laundry it was happening. That ended my allegiance to Dallas.

I decided i needed trans to follow with some real roots. My dad grew up in northern Cal and had always been a Giants and 49ers fan. It seemed like the obvious choice. 30+ years later it still fits. GO GIANTS!
