Ability for a DL to make a havoc play like TFL, Sack, hurry, Hit…. the DL bull rushes 90% of the time and makes it easy for OL to managed them, this isn’t supported by any type of disguised blitzes by LBs or any disguised coverages in the secondary. The DLs don’t develop any other DL techniques to make blocking them more difficult. All around I’m not surprised we have difficulty recruiting DLs… who wants to play in a scheme that doesn’t utilize or develop your talent and doesn’t put you in a position to make plays.
