I disagree. Trunk or treat is a ward party, games, chilli/cornbread cook-off and
the trunk or treat. I've seen more less-active/non-members come to trunk or treats than any other ward activity.
Any house that doesn't want to hand out candy at the trunk or treat because you don't want to do both then don't hand out candy at the trunk or treat.
