As a 37 year old attorney if I can pump out 12 reps at that weight I will be very pleased.

Not really. My 10 rep weight on a real bench is 185. Tonal I was burning at 110.

That would be sufficient for most things besides squat and deadlift but still probably good enough.

I don't know that this machine is to make one "swole". But great for fitness lifting and just staying sharp.
