I agree.
We’re all happy with the win. 21 points. Not terrible but hardly beyond reproach (not to mention the winning margin was an unforced kicking error). And this with an offense with a decent Oline, one of the best all-time RBs and a receiving corps (Romney, Pakua x2, NP, Rex and Holker) among the best ever at BYU. Yet, 85th in the nation in scoring. So what’s the problem?
I think it’s Arod with too many incredibly bad calls in the red zone (and short yardage calls) and Hall. Nobody saying Hall is bad. But, yeah, I think some feel his overall QB play is not all that great and Romney may be better (and we’ve seen him play a lot—this is not just hoping a 2nd stringer might be better).
