It is a bit of a slog. Sanderson only wrote the last 2 (3?). Still it’s pretty good if you’re an epic type fantasy fan.

2nd best series ever written. Right after the Stormlight Archives and right before Lord of the Rings

books 4-8 are a little slow at times. Book 1 is amazing all by itself, so go ahead and read that to see.

This. First few books are great. Middle books are a bit tough to get through, but ends well. It’s a commitment.

I think 4-6 are my favorites of the series. Two words, Dumai's Wells

Nailed it. I couldn't stop reading because the writing was so good, even when I didn't know what was going on.

It's fantastic. Not sure where I would rank it though. Maybe even with WoT.

Way of Kings has the best payoff in any book I've ever read.

It starts off books 1-5 as the greatest epic fantasy or sci Fi of all time
