A month ago, BYU's 22 class seemed VERY weak. No top 1000 national recruits.
But then they flipped Moa and got Hagen and suddenly things are very bright.
Utah has a tiny class and they've got some solid guys, but nothing from in-state. If they get Barton, Tabaracci, Vakalahi, all of whom they're strongly in the running for, they'd have 3 of the 15 recruits in Utah who rate top 1000.
Virginia would also have 3; BYU and Oregon would have 2 apiece and then the last 5 would be UCLA, Baylor, USC, Wazzu and Utah State.
In that case, Utah would have a very solid in-state recruiting class. But it's also possible they get none of those guys. In which case, it's a disastrous showing in-state. They have the only offer for Puna Alatini (#21 in-state), but he's not [rated as] a difference-maker.
