I've been to a lot of BYU bowl games. Hotel rooms are hard to come by.

BYU has local representation everywhere but they have a large contigent of fans that will travel to bowl games. That contigent is much larger than Utah's.

False. The committee chooses the matchups and who is in the bowls. The teams

The Sugar Bowl is Big 12 vs SEC. The Rose Bowl is PAC vs Big 10. The ACC gets a team in to either the Peach or Fiesta

BYU would draw locally. But would not fill the hotels and bars like other teams.

Definitely wrong, all the hotels in vegas were filled with BYU fans during our last game there. Same for a Bowl Game
