Bull Rush is used for pass rushing and is pretty much the Dlinemen getting low and using push to collapse the pocket. They aren't really defending a gap or trying to get through a lane. Most of the time a Bull Rush can't be incorporated with stunts or twists so if the offensive line knows it's coming......

When they know it's coming all the offensive lineman has to do is lay down on top of the low-charging defensive lineman.
