You sound like the Ute fans saying we'd beat BYU right now

All that matters is winning.

Some games you just have to survive and advance. This idea that you can always play every game at your best is pure lunacy put forward by people that have never actually played team sports at a high level.

The biggest problem with computer rankings is they are based upon everything happening under ideal circumstances.
