No offense, but the Stanford degree isn’t to impress middle management hiring
decision makers, it opens doors in the C Suite or in VC offices that wouldn’t otherwise be open to you. Yes, you can’t be an idiot or it doesn’t really help you, but competent + Stanford degree can most definitely help you, especially if it is free.
