Ok, you may be right in your last point, however….
I’d argue based on their research that is was causing some issues.

Secondly, you failed to mention the most important part in all of this, that the name was passed 73-28 in one of the most conservative legislatures in America.

They debated the arguments on both sides and felt the name change was warranted.

My question is did either of you that seem so offended by this actually go to Dixie State? If so, I guess I can understand why you’d be upset otherwise it seems like you’re getting really upset over something that really isn’t that big of a deal.

Companies, universities, institutions make name changes all the time to better fit the needs of the market and future.

I think it’s a smart name change that will prove very effective moving forward. The Utah legislature seems to agree.
