It's one of those things none of us would turn down, and we would all
be worse off for having taken.
I saw inheritances royally screw up so many families. I remember thinking how much parents would have regretted leaving anything to their kids if they knew what lengths the kids would go to destroy one another. That says nothing of your comment about how it removes the challenges and important victories in life once a kid gets a bunch of unearned cash.
