What happens if one child struggles with medical issues, unemployment, inability

To care for their family….. 100% they are on their own? What if one of your kids develops addiction problems, has a wife and 4 kids that he can’t provide for…. Then what?

It’s easy to say no one will get anything but in real life it’s more difficult to implement
