I'm in my 60's and my father is still alive. I assure you he could leave me more
than 10K without ruining my work ethic. I'm already retired.
My point, it depends on how old your "child" is. Yeah millions to someone in their 20's is really bad, but if they don't get it until they are perhaps 55, it won't have nearly the same effect.
