My little pet peeve is how a techie can hit it big than all of a sudden we elevate them to such levels in society… bottom line many just got lucky.
Even a Ryan Smith. Now good for them and I’m sure they learn something along the way given who they interact with (esp smith) but it still doesn’t mean they should get the political and cultural influence that they often get (hospital boards, nonprofit board, govt business committees, etc)
But to your point no question being wealthy is your best bet in rising up through church leadership (granted nearly all are prob great individuals as well)..
