You typically don’t wanna leave a dog, a full gown adult for longer than eight hours without a bathroom break, puppies it’s much shorter. So many people that are away longer than that during the day, have people walk their dogs. It’s relatively common amongst the professionals I work with. Especially if both spouses work.

When our dog was a very little puppy we had someone come by twice a day on days when no one could be home. It was actually crucial to our potty training, and helped us potty train the puppy very quickly.
