My parents gave me a card at my wedding and lamented that they couldn’t afford
A gift. It broke my heart at the pain they felt. I paid for all of the tuxes and the wedding lunch out of my own pocket. It was still an amazing wedding because you know what gets to happen after the wedding.
I have friends that are trust fund babies and others that have received inheritances. So happy for them. Makes life easier with respect to money.
