Gotta consider that the Pop system also suppressed numbers. Also easier to put up numbers on lesser teams.

I like advanced stats as they’re more easily comparable across generations, but they have weak points too. They don’t capture defense well and Tim D was one of the best on that end. Think they favor low usage/high efficiency players too much as well.
