I did exactly what you're doing in 2017. I lost 55 pounds and I've kept it off
mainly eating the same stuff. I lost a bit of strength on my core lifts (not as much as I expected), but I can run for days, play basketball/soccer for days, just don't get tired anymore. Honestly changed my life. I'm 32 now but I am in the best shape of my life. Good for you man, gotta stay consistent, that's the main thing.

You can have times where you cheat, but get right back on the horse, and the trend will stay in the right direction.
