He said he had a pretty bad hamstring pull
And reaggrivated it in bowl prep. I don’t think he was deliberately sitting out or he for sure would have transferred. At one point It obviously was on his mind. He had one of his videos where he showed a bunch of his rehab.
In fairness to the coaches he missed a lot more tackles than he had in previous seasons this year. He needs to play better. I’m happy to hear he’s sticking through it and I think safety is the best position for him.

I think injuries were used as an excuse. I think he could have played through them. He clearly was pulled against
