There's a rub to that, though. A young PG can learn a TON
playing & competing everyday in practice & working out every day in the offseason with vets like AB & TeJ. And watching them from the bench as well.
That's an aspect of team development that Pope sees moreso than his predecessors, I think. It's the fuel & rationale for all the big programs out there.
