Really? We lost to a mediocre UAB team that had lost to Rice and Liberty.
We required late-game heroics to beat a coach-less USC team that was trounced by UCLA 62-33 the week before, lost by 10 to a gosh awful Cal the following week, and went 1-6 in their last seven games.
I really enjoyed our season last year, it was a ton of fun. But by the end of the season, we were really struggling. With the way our defense was playing, I would have guessed we lose by 30+ against Pitt.

2021 loss to BSU would have meant we get beat down in a NY6 bowl by a good team instead of pre-Christmas by a bad one
