Yeah, VW and Navistar flirted for years. Even back in 2011 it was a common topic, at Navistar, that VW was coming in
and buying the company. But that was all about the heavy duty market and consumer brands weren't even mentioned.

But if they invest in North America manufacturing that may help the VW nameplates and launch the Scout.
