It's not just that it is fair weather, because I believe that is the case for
most cities, to some extent.
Phoenix just has so many people from other places. So when Green Bay plays the Cards, everyone from Wisconsin goes. When the Suns play the Lakers or Warriors, all of the people from CA go.
I can't answer for baseball because I have only been to a handful of games.
