I can think of a couple reasons why Amari would opt for OR: 1 She wants the
growing experience of being out on her own away from parents, 2. She made a commitment to OR and wants to honor that, 3. Mom wants Amari to make her own decision without pressuring her to follow Mom to Provo, 4. The unique BYU culture isn't for her.
All that said, I hope Amari decides enthusiastically and voluntarily that she wants to follow Mom to BYU.
