It is crazy. Hopefully its only for the best for your kid and others in that
situation where they're getting so much attention/love at a young age.
I have a 6th grade daughter that was just "offered" a full "scholarship" for a club soccer team about a 3 hour plane ride away. Apparently even in club sports at that age they cherry pick kids around the country. I've heard about that in baseball too.

That's where I have gotten the most "pressure", it isn't really pressure, just timely text messages or water cooler
